Hi, I’m Francisco.

I’m a cybersecurity student who discovered my passion for IT during my time at 42, and I’m now focusing fully on cybersecurity at LGK. I’m especially interested in cryptography and in protecting people’s data, and I enjoy learning through hands‑on labs and real problem‑solving.

As part of my studies, I’m looking for a cybersecurity internship where I can keep improving, contribute to meaningful work, and learn from experienced professionals. I’m still growing, but I’m motivated, curious, and committed to becoming better every day.

Dockerized SSH Honeypot Monitoring Stack

Collecting and visualizing attack data from a Cowrie SSH honeypot.

Docker, Docker Compose, Cowrie, Python, PostgreSQL, Grafana.
Built a containerized pipeline that parses Cowrie logs into PostgreSQL for Grafana dashboards
Outcome: Honeypot monitoring setup that ingests and visualizes SSH events.

OPNsense Lab

Designing and implementing a firewall with controlled web access and services.

Tools: OPNsense, Proxmox, Kea DHCP, Unbound DNS, WireGuard.
Set up a three‑interface OPNsense firewall with DHCP, VPN, and filtering.
Published DMZ services via WAN/LAN using Destination NAT and access rules.
Outcome: A reliable secure gateway with working traffic flows and access control.

Cloud Lab with AWS Core Services

Designing and implementing a firewall with controlled web access and services.

Tools: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch), Windows Server, XAMPP
Deployed a Windows EC2 web server, S3 static site, Lambda function, and custom VPC.
Set up CloudWatch metrics, CPU alarms, and S3-triggered Lambda runs.
Produced a concise lab report demonstrating practical use of AWS foundational services.

Virtualization Server & Proxmox Infrastructure

Hands-on deployment of a production-style virtualization environment.

Tools:Intel SR2600 server, Proxmox VE, RAID controller, RMM3, Windows/Linux VMs.
Installed the hardware, mounted the server in the rack, and wired power and management/network connections.
Installed, configured, and hardened a Proxmox virtualization host including storage, networking, and remote management.
Designed and documented VM, user, and permission structure aligned with classroom and lab requirements.
